timer kernelpatch for xen-enabled kernels
Hi pkg-xen members,
Hi Bastian,
I had a lot of trouble with xen on my quite new notebook. It's a sony notebook
with core 2 duo processor. In xen (dom0 & domU) I got a lot of "time went
backwards" error messages. I think at least 100 msgs/10sec, which renders the
system more or less unusable on the console. With "noapic" as boot option
there are even more messages.

2.6.20 domU kernel on 2.6.16 kernel
Hi,
I have host running 2.6.16 dom0 kernel (Gentoo based).
All my domUs are using 2.6.16 custom compiled kernels.
Now my question is - is it possible to use newer version for domUs,
for example 2.6.20 FC6 domU kernel?

[Bug 554] Packet illegaly bypassing SNAT

------- Additional Comments From fhagur@gmail.com 2007-04-17 05:04 MET -------
I have been wondering about this bug and had similar problems myself here in my
Debian system, linux-kernel 2.6.18 iptables 1.3.6.
I too saw that some packets became transmitted illegally through the ppp0
interface, when they just shoudn't.

[PATCH 0/8] Convert the intel iommu driver to the dma-iommu api
This patchset converts the intel iommu driver to the dma-iommu api.
While converting the driver I exposed a bug in the intel i915 driver which causes a huge amount of artifacts on the screen of my laptop. You can see a picture of it here:
https://github.com/pippy360/kernelPatches/blob/master/IMG_20191219_225922.jpg
This issue is most likely in the i915 driver and is most likely caused by the driver not respecting the return value of the dma_map_ops::map_sg function. You can see the driver ignoring the return value here:
