MIT Kerberso or Heimdal Kerberos what is the question?
I have some problem whit Kerberos.
OS: FreeBSD 5.3
Domain: W2k3 native mode.
1)I am Installing Heimdal 0.6.1 over port. Config /etc/krb5.conf
%/usr/local/bin/kinit ivan

2)Compile and install Heimdal 0.6.4 over source

Kerberso tgt token life on samba4
Guys
is it possible on samba 4 to raise the expiry time on tgt tickets to be
more than 10 hours ?
I have users running scripts that need a longer expiry time on the token
on another side note is it the Samba 4 DC that decides the renewal date of
the tokens also ?

...overcome this I have to re-import the oldsamba keytab with ktutil.

Samba4: W2k clients cannot set / sync time with samba4 AD DC

I
just have found out which the dynamic updates didn't work. The reason
was, that time synchronization of my win2k clients did NOT WORK
correctly, so they were not in sync with my samba4 AD DC. This is
necessary for Kerberso and therefore for signed updates. If the client
is not in sync with the samba4 domain controller, the updates do NOT
occur. So this is what I have found out:
although I am logged in
with the local administrator account to the windows 2000 host and I am
able to manually modify/adjust the window...
