Wherefore is FUSE?
Tonight, I tried to roll out fuse on my CentOS 4 production system. (in order
to use GlusterFS)
I have two identical servers, and one took, the other didn't.
How simple could this be?
# yum install yum-plugin-priorities
# yum install rpmforge-release
# yum install fuse dkms-fuse
both of these seem to work. Yet I run
[root at kepler drivers]# modprobe fuse
FATAL: Module fuse not

Ceph samba size reporting troubles
Dear developement team,
I want to share a massive storage casted with Ceph by samba with
windows workstations.
All works well. My problem so is that in windows the ceph storage size
statistics are wrong. Instead of seeing a 44TB hard drive I see a 176GB
hard drive.
Under linux that issue doesn't show. The size are properly reported.
I investigated around and it seems that the problem

GSOC 2016 Aspirant for Kepler Accelerated Video Encoding;
Hi,
First of all, congratulations to the X.org team for selection into
Google Summer of Code 2016.
I would like to participate to Google Summer of Code 2016 by
contributing to Kepler Accelerated Video Encoding for Nouveau.
I request you to kindly guide me as to how to get started with this project.

[PATCH 0/2] Fix some voltage issues found on Kepler cards
With these both patches, most of the kepler cards should be able to reclock
their core clock without issues.
These patches should be tested carefully among nouveau devs, so that these
don't break reclocking on other cards (especially Teslas).
Particularly the second one might break reclocking here and there.

[RFC PATCH v2 0/7] stabilize kepler reclocking
Hello,
first of all, I'm new to this list, so please beer with me. On the other
hand, I'm a graduate computer systems engineer with experience in Linux
kernel code, so I can hopefully provide useful input/assistance on this
topic.
I'm replying because I tried your patches on my setup in the hope they'd
fix my lockups. Unfortunately they didn't, so I'm offering debug

[RFC PATCH v2 0/7] stabilize kepler reclocking
Hello,
Maybe my e-mail client is messing with me, but I couldn't find any dmesg output
attached to your e-mail. Could you please try to attach it again?
By the way, since you have a Kepler, you should try booting with
"nouveau.War00C800_0=1". That workaround is enabled by default in 4.4-rc5
(IIRC), but that might not be the case on Karol's branch.
Best regards,
Pierre

GSOC 2016 Aspirant for Kepler Accelerated Video Encoding;
First, make sure there's a mentor available -- I doubt I'll have time to do
it, but perhaps someone else will be able to.
I would recommend writing a minimal application that e.g. encodes a fixed
group of frames. You should then trace this app under the blob with both
mmiotrace to figure out how to configure the underlying engine (probably
just firmware to upload), as well as get a mmt

Cannot bind to AD using nslcd
Hi Again - following on from my last request for help, I'm now attempting to
setup LDAP auth against my working samba4 AD.
Simplistically, I'm trying initially to SSH into my AD server (working)
using nslcd.
I've tried method #1 from
https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Local_user_management_and_authentication/ns

My simple config is:
