Problems with NUT 2.7.2 on CentOS 7 and using the Mini-Box OpenUPS
...ts, please? My further searching shows Nicu Pavel of mini-box asked questions on this forum in 2012 but I don?t see any good answers! And mini-box so far haven?t replied to me. Many thanks for any help you can provide. Problems with NUT 2.7.2 on CentOS 7 and using the Mini-Box OpenUPS
Charles, Thanks again for your help, and sorry I didn?t :cc - noted for the future! I?m suspicious that the OpenUPS doesn?t behave properly in a number of ways, of which the USB traffic is the one of immediate concern. It seems to me that NUT can read from it but probably not write to it: and the OpenUPS doesn?t flag ?low battery? conditions correctly either. It does shut itself down at a

Problems with NUT 2.7.2 on CentOS 7 and using the Mini-Box OpenUPS
I?m a new user of NUT and the OpenUPS - in the past I?ve used APC hardware and apcupsd on Centos 6. I?ve built NUT 2.7.2 from source but used the OpenUPS HID driver v0.4 that?s in github. I?m using firmware version 1.5 on the openups which is the latest published version; I?ve also tried 1.7 which Mini-box sent to me but reverted to the published version. Their support seems a bit slow! I?ve got

[Nut-upsuser] Brand new EATON 3S700DIN (mfr.date 09/28/14) doesn't wait for LB flag
...#1 described below, since there is 'No space left on the device' and the UPS needs to be reset by powering it off? ISSUE# 3 seems to be resolved for me by correct configuration. ISSUES #1 & 2 still persist. NUT and non-APCC UPSs doing calibration runs
Don't choose mini-box OpenUPS. No instant commands. No reporting of power fail. No replies to emails to support. Otherwise perfect! I have mine working with support from Charles but not ideal. Brand new EATON 3S700DIN (mfr.date 09/28/14) doesn't wait for LB flag
Sergey, I?m no expert on this but I have been reading the driver code, trying to sort out bigger problems with the OpenUPS driver! I can make 2 observations that I can?t check out myself : ?beeper.disable? was previously ?beeper off? - and ?beeper.enable? was ?beeper.on?. Not sure if it?s worth trying the old versions? If your UPS doesn?t wait for LB, could this be because there is another
