Can anyone suggest how I can get pdflatex to compress the R
graphs while embedding them? My output files are very big,
and I know they would be substantially smaller if the R
graphs were compressed.

Debian packages: icecast2, libshout, ices2
...to run icecast 2
on Woody, I thought perhaps others might be interested in these packages.
Backports of the current libogg and libvorbis 1.0.0 packages have also
been provided, since Woody only has 1.0rc3.
They're available at these apt sources:
deb http://rune.thebasement.org/debian stable keegan
deb-src http://rune.thebasement.org/debian stable keegan
I'll be making new builds regularly, probably weekly.
Thanks,

I know I can use args <- list(...), but presumably that

ACTIVE_BRAC engine migration error.
Hello Keegan,
You may already have forgotten about your posting from last month - but I
stumbled across the EXACT same error today, and figured out a way around
it.
The difficulty stems from you running under Windows XP, probably running
InstantRails, right?
I fairly quickly discovered that the reason...

Okay, great! Looks just right this time. I've got your builds up
on my APT source now; I don't have a box to test them, obviously, but
I think everything should be working correctly.

No problem! Glad they're getting used. I'm falling a bit behind with
the updates, unfortunately, but they're still a high priority for me.
I'll drop another note here when the next ones are ready.

All libs via ldd probably doesn't include /lib/libnss*. You'll need
those too, I believe (or at least libnss_files and libnss_dns).

icecast related packages available
Hi,
I made some debian packages related to icecast (libshout,
ices,icecast,...).
They are all available officialy, but tthey need to be validated to
integrated official distribution (either Sid, or Etch).
Feel free to try them out.
Here is the lines you could add to you sources.list:

...not previously, because I don't personally have any need for MP3
streaming, since Ogg Vorbis is working so well. :) I've sent a quick
note to a Debian developer who had expressed interest in the past; if he
is no longer interested, I'll make up some packages myself.
Thanks again,
- Keegan

Is there some advantage to using your packages? I originally made
the icecast + libshout packages which are now in Debian a couple of
years ago, so I'd be interested to hear.
Thanks,
