whacked keyboard behavior CLI
...first I thought maybe it was the keyboard, but it seems to work
fine when within gnome.
In all honesty I think i just have to get a different keyboard, but
wanted to see if anyone had any experience with something like this
(before I returned it) and a way to fix for the CLI. I have tried the
kbdrate command.
The keyboard is a wireless belkin with a usb connection.
Thanks in advance.

winbind and pam files
In the winbind docs it says the following:
"In /etc/pam.d/* replace the auth lines with something
like this:"
By this (/etc/pam.d/*) do they mean that we change ALL
the files in that directory? If not, what files do we
change? Another set of docs i read for winbind stated
that i should change the /etc/pam.d/samba file, but on
my TurboLinux 6.5 and RH 7.1 systems that file doesn't

...utting the changes back to the Linux repositories?
Well, I didn't have the warm fuzzies about that to be honest, because it is
in violation of the GPL.

net ads join / kinit /.conf syntax
Hi.
HELP!
I read:
:-)
http://www.samba.org/samba/docs/man/domain-member.html#domain-member-server
(Which notes, "This is a rough guide to setting up Samba-3 with Kerberos
authentication against a Windows 200x KDC. A familiarity with Kerberos is
assumed." Is there "A guide to familiarity with Kerberos as a primer for
Samba configuration" somewhere?)
