lss broken when upgraded 4.05 to 6.03
...ux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=85619&start=30 The reason that I am keen to move up to 6.0x is I want to support UEFI for Quirky Linux (and to pass on the know how to the Puppy guys). So, I will very much appreciate if one of the syslinux developer guys can fix that LSS16 problem! Regards, Barry Kauler

Can almost boot on UEFI win8.1 laptop
I have done another install to the usb stick. # syslinux --directory EFI/BOOT --install /dev/sdc1 ...this creates files ldlinux.c32 and ldlinux.sys in /EFI/BOOT I then mounted the 1st partition of the usb stick and copied syslinux.efi and ldlinux.e64 from /usr/share/syslinux/efi64 to /EFI/BOOT in the usb stick. I renamed syslinux.efi to BOOTX64.EFI I copied my files boot.msg, help.msg,

Can almost boot on UEFI win8.1 laptop
I have used syslinux 4.0x and earlier for many years, with Puppy Linux and more recently Quirky Linux. Though, my knowledge of all the capabilities of syslinux remains rudimentary. I am new to UEFI. I recently got my hands on a win8.1 laptop, 64-bit system, and decided to tackle booting Quirky on it, from a USB stick. I turned off Secure Boot. I wrote /usr/share/syslinux/gptmbr.bin to the flash
