...ameter." So I think this is only a temporary solution.
Microsoft must have changed something regarding the locking mechanism
inside the service pack.
Any ideas?

[SOLVED] Win NT 4.0 SP4 access to Samba 1.9.16p9
...copy of Samba (1.9.16p9), while my neighbour's
NT 4.0 with SP3 computer did just fine. This was in the case of a
read-write share that only myself and my neighbour had access to under our
user names. A read-only share worked just fine on both our computers.

Samba and MS Access (new effect)
...SuSE Linux 7.0 and
kernel 2.2.16 I have to set the option "fake oplocks=yes"
on the share to get access to the .mdb files.
Using Samba 2.0.7-105 on SuSE Linux 7.1 with kernel
2.4.0 it works without the fake oplocks option.
I'm using the same smb.conf on both machines.

Compile problem RedHat 7.1 with-ldapsam
...ap.c:72: `LDAP_OPT_X_TLS_HARD` undeclared (first use in
this function)
....
some other missing declarations are following.
All those variables (except for the LDAP_SSL_ON) are declared in
my /usr/include/ldap.h. My ldap libraries are in /usr/lib.
What am I missing here?
Thanks for any hints.
