Disk images and syslinux
...to build a hard disk image let's say 5 MB and use it with syslinux. However, I'm not sure about the details of how to do this. All help is highly appreciated.
I'm using the latest version of syslinux, which by the way is an excellent piece of software. Many thanks to Peter for it.

I've found a number of sources describing the process of setting up
ISOLINUX and MEMDISK, and how to configure the boot CD to boot various
OS's. I've also read through Bart Lagerweij's BootCD/ModBoot pages, and

Connection Timeout
This is my first post so first of all I will say hello to everyone.
I have rsync configured and working properly on my local network however
when I try to connect from a remote host (one located in a different state)
the connection times out. I was wondering if there was another way to set
the timeout besides in the rsyncd.conf file?
As I said the connection works fine on the internal lan, but
