DatOptic RAID Array >2TB?
...egabytes
Disk label type: gpt
Minor Start End Filesystem Name Flags
it's important that we get full use of the array (1TB is a lot of
space to waste).
anyone have any ideas, suggestions, comments, or criticisms?
any help would be greatly appreciated...

Sendmail conf
A long time ago someone helped me with setting up sendmail to simply queue
and relay mail. They suggested:
1) edit /etc/sysconfig/sendmail and set
"DAEMON=no"
2) edit /etc/mail/submit.mc and set
FEATURE(`msp', `[IP.of.relayhost]')dnl
Given the sendmail-cf RPM is already installed a "service sendmail
restart" is enough to a light, direct submitting sendmail

CentOS 4.4 LILO Raid (also e2fsprogs in general)
...to them...
all of which i could probably post somewhere public...
but if they are really useful, i'd rather ship them along to
someone more closely involved in maintaining CentOS...
so as to "contribute" as best i could to everyone's future
well-being as well...

DNS resolve.conf not working
Hi All:
After upgrading to 4.4 my server(s) will not resolve using the servers
listed in resolve.conf. This is not true of a server running a DNS
Cache server. I can do a netstat -e and show a connection to the DNS
servers but it will not resolve any domain names (please see below).
Any thoughts?

Strange reboots
Hi,
I have a CentOS 5.0 running as a web server.
# uname -a
Linux hostnamehidden.net 2.6.18-53.1.14.el5 #1 SMP Wed Mar 5 11:37:38
EST 2008 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Every 59 minutes (maybe every hour) it reboots without any logs,
without any traces and unfortunately with breaking software raid.
After reboot dmesg does not have any strange entries.
I double-checked crons, any strange
