problem with --delete if I sync part of a dir
...t if I delete a file on machine A it will not be deleted on machine B.
This is only a problem if I use i_* as my source. If i sync whole directories (recursive or not) it's no problem at all to get files deleted on the other end.
Is there anything to do about this ?

I can live migrate a guest OS from one server to the other just fine, as
long as the version of qemu-kvm is the same.
However, when I try to migrate a guest to a server running a newer (or
older) version of qemu-kvm, I run into problems. I think this is because
the xml configuration differs
