Ok, so there is not a problem with SElinux and Samba. But it is a pain to set up so it will work right. I finally figured out how to set up SE and Samba so you can be able to write and delete files. I am having trouble connecting with my linux machine from my XP machine. I am not sure what is the problem ... My smb.conf seems to be fine. Hi, I have set "username map = /usr/local/samba/lib/username.map" in my smb.conf but it doesn't seem to work. This worked on my old Solaris server but not on new Red Hat linux server. Any idea??? Thanks. Jayesh
