Anyone got kaffeine installed. When I do a #yum install kaffeine I get a transaction check error with kde-libs. Is this a known issue and is their a workaround? regards, secrookie

Hi, I'm currently fiddling with the KDE desktop just to see if it suits our users better than the default GNOME. I configured the RPMForge repos and launched a 'yum install kaffeine'. Hi, Does anyone know how to clean up the system, especially the orphan packages. I post this in the forum, but it doesnt seems that nobody interested in this question. In the beginning, my system did not have any kde package but then i installed kaffeine, thus some other kde packages has been installed as dependencies but when i yum remove kaffeine, only kaffeine was removed. The other packages were left. In my Gentoo, i can clean up all the packages that are not installed explicitly but i dont know how to do it in centos. Any suggestion are w...

Hi Seeing as other people are posting streams to test, the system I have been developing has an Ogg/Vorbis/Theora stream that you can watch. I would appreciate any feedback to what players can play it and which players have problems. (I am using Icecast as the streaming server) So far I have found VideoLan plays the stream very well. MPlayer was ok, but wasn't as good at buffering.

The crashes most often happen at desktop login and when loading certain=20 applications (kmail, kaffeine, ...). The strange thing is that if I try to attach to kde-window-decorator with g= db=20 it doesn't crash anymore! What might be the reason?
