getting all circular arrangements without accounting for order
New function below is a bit faster due to more efficent memory handling.
for-loop FTW!
directionless_circular_permutations2 <- function( n ) {
n1 <- n - 1L
v <- seq.int( n1 )
ix <- combinations( n1, 2L )
jx <- permutations( n-3L, n-3L )
jxrows <- nrow( jx )
jxoffsets <- seq.int( jxrows )
result <- matrix( n, nrow = factorial( n1 )/2L, ncol = n )
k <- seq( 2L, n - 2L )
for ( i in seq.int( nrow( ix ) ) ) {

range segment exclusion using range endpoints
Hello,
I'm posting this again (with some small edits). I didn't get any replies
last time...hoping for some this time. :)
Currently I'm only coming up with brute force solutions to this issue
(loops). I'm wondering if anyone has a better way to do this. Thank you for
your help in advance!
The problem: I have endpoints of one x range (x_rng) and an unknown number
of s ranges

aggregating irregular time series
Hi,
I have a couple of aggregation operations that I don't know how to
accomplish. Let me give an example. I have the following irregular
time series
time x
10:00:00.021 20
10:00:00.224 20
10:00:01.002 19
10:00:02:948 20
1) For each entry time, I'd like to get sum of x for the next 2
seconds

I am wondering where the samba team currently stand for this issue? Or is there anyone else interterested in this?
Thanks,

[LLVMdev] 2 experimental projects
Hi all,
I have two llvm projects in different stages of execution:
1) Parallel "make check".
Modelled after the successful clang "make test -jX" experiment, I am
now bold enough to sink my teeth into the LLVM test suite.
I have a prototype implementation, along the same lines, ready.
2) <class Use> size reduction.
After some conversation with Chris I think we are ready for a
16 -> 12 byte size reduction of the Use class. The...

from the makefile (i.e. they would not be run by the build-all-unittest make

On the other hand, if separate binaries are built, then a make unittest
target could parallelize trivially by adding -jX. I belive fork-level
parallelism within a single test binary is in coming to gtest, but is not
available yet.

How do I use the developers version of Wine 1.1.20?
I'm still not sure how I did it, but I managed to use the link http://wiki.winehq.org/GitWine for the latest development version, and even installed git (blind man navigating New York City streets). So now all I have to do is
Code:
git fetch ; git rebase origin
to stay up to date. My question is how do I run programs with it? When I do the normal
Code:
wine setup.exe
for example, it says
