Hi all. me again! I've decided after some good advice from Sascha to go with a CentOS build. I've got icecast installed and running, however I'm having difficulty in finding a script that will start the icecast server on boot. Does anybody have one built, or know where I can find one? Ive kept everything pretty much standard in that the icecast server uses user "icecast"

...asier than when i tried on cent os last year. this is running perfectly, starts on boot etc. the only version of ices thats available via emerge is ices2, which i dont want. ive tried (and im no linux pro) wget the tarall, unzipping and compiling it, but i get this error when i try run ices: _JUNGLISED ICES-0.4 # ICES -C /USR/LOCAL/ETC/ICES.CONF.DIST -B_ _BASH: ICES: COMMAND NOT FOUND_ im at a complete loss now. Evening guys... I've been trying for the past week to install an icecast server on my centos 5 VPS hosted through phurix. I've tried compiling it, installing it from RPM. but im getting nowhere.
