wine doesn't read ~/.wine/config
...onfig. It still tries to reach the floppy drive through the old (wrong) path. There is no $HOME/.winerc and no /etc/wine.conf or /etc/local/etc/wine.conf file on my system. And copying ~/.wine/config to these locations didn't help either. Does anybody have an idea what I am doing wrong? Juerg

32bit OS on 64bit architectures
...bit kernels as well. i tried it. show up finding kernel and initrd with ok .. and crashes thereafter. questions: - should it be possible to boot a 32bit kernel on X64 systems? - if yes - can it be done using syslinux UEFI as already setup? - i looked for available information - what did i miss? juerg, call me george

upgrade 6.04-pre1 to 6.04-pre4

don't use centos 7 as a developer workstation
Hi, May be it's not clear to everyone.. so this's just a quick notice to everyone. Don't use CentOS 7 as a developer workstation since currently there is not included any developer IDE. As eclipse was pulled out from the main distro and put into Red Hat Developer Toolset (which is imho a good idea not to use a 7 years old IDE). But Red Hat Developer Toolset is still not supported on

ok - i do understand the point. and i do guess the hint was also included in ady's answer. why running a 32-bit kernel? well because of efficency. i am running ldap, bdb, mysql db, webservers, e-mail server with imap service on a 512mB RAM kernel without swapping of over 10 years. so - why should i step up to a 4gB environment? it's all about point of view and capabilities. i am also
