This is the SVr4 Bourne Shell, so you need to take into account what has been
added with Svr4:
- multibyte character support. In the 1980s, the Bourne Shell was just
8-bit clean.
- job-control. If you do not call "jsh", or if you switch off jobcontrol
via "set +m" in a job shell, you have the job-control related builtins
but there is no processgroup management.

revision control on maildir possible?
Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible to put a dovecot managed maildir under a vcs like system, for example git or bzr. I'd like to have a seamless history of all mail going in and out of my mailboxes, so a vcs like system seams a good choice for me. I'm not quite sure however if that would cause any problems to dovecot and what the best way of handling commits would be.

schily tools
Hey folks,
I'm reading up on gtar for tape archiving and it sounds kind of nasty and
not something I really want to rely on.
It looks like star from the schily tools is preferred. I'm using Centos
(and RHEL) 5.7 which seems to have star but not sdd.
Which leads me to believe that the Schily tools are maybe a bit "rogue"
