Anyone have an rpm built for Javahelp2?
Yes, I can get it done with some effort.
I understand the non-free aspect of jpackage.org
the rpm is created with user/group jpp, so I guess that I have to include:
--prefix /home/me/rpm ?

and we want it available as .rpm
at this moment, the maintainers don't have a test environment for Centos
does anyone know whether the latest versions of and Centos can satisfy

thanks in advance!

internal-sftp and logging not working with Fedora and chroot using 5.5?
...out chroot logging is perfect, with
chroot, logging stops.
Have not tried the use of logging sockets - BUT from what I have read, these
should not be necessary with the newer OpenSSH 5.x versions and this is the
newest one, so did not want to head down that trail (yet).
Thank you in Advance...

iSCSI and LVM
Hi Everyone,
I am going to get a storage server which will be connected to my Xen hosts via iSCSI/Ethernet. I wish to use LVM for the DomU disks. The storage server will have a RAID10 array, and 2 Xen hosts will connect to this (Each will have a 50% share of the RAID10 array, space wise).
What is the best way to go about this? Should I:
a) Split the RAID10 array into 2 partition on the

I am using xen some years now and it just runs without any problems. But now one customer needs a stupid WinXP domU and I am trying to get this running for about two weeks...

[Bridge] Building 1.1 ?
Good day Folks!
Working on a bridging firewall/gateway and attempting to solve the age-old
mystery of whether I can get NAT to work across a gateway that has 2 NICs and
requires a bridge...
Upside is, I have the gateway working, bridging works (as does OpenVPN using
that bridge). But NAT does not in Fedora Core 4...
>From dmesg: Linux version 2.6.11-1.1369_FC4

OpenSuSE 11.2 bug, dom0-cpus limit causes xenwatch_cb running 100% and xm command freeze and xend dead
Hi all,
I have upgraded a test machine from OpenSuSE 11.1 to 11.2.
I have found following bug:
the server is a 2x quadcore intel box also 2x4=8cpu
If you limit the dom0 cpu with dom0-cpus= [1-7]:
- [xenwatch_cb] is running 100% cpu and makes var log entry every 65 sec
BUG: soft lockup - CPU#X stuck for 61s!
- xm commands not work
- xend is dead
if set dom0-cpus to 0 or 8:
- everything looks

I''ve been trying to get a new machine up and running with the latest Xen for a while on a Slackware64 (current) machine.
After installing Xen from source and building a new kernel with all xen options enabled I haven''t been able to get the machine to behave.
The machine is a brand new dual opteron 6212 on a Supermicro H8DGi board with 64G ECC memory.

How many guests
Hi Everyone,
I have a Dell R210 server which has a Xeon X3430 Quad Core CPU (2.4Ghz x
4) with 8GB of RAM. I intend to use the H200 controller in a RAID1 setup
How many VMs do you think I''d be able to run on this machine? Is 20
pushing it?
I''d say most (if not all) guests would be in PV mode.
Thanks
