Directory rename problem with smbclient
...I am using the smbclient from Samba 2.0.6, but I have also tried other
versions of smbclient back to 1.9.18 patch 3 with the same results.
I would appreciate any advise on how to troubleshoot this problem.

smbstatus hang with CTDB 2.5.4 and Samba 4.1.13
...n_global.tdb.1
I was going to start by trying to update
/usr/smb_cluster/etc/ctdb/debug_locks.sh since I don't think flock is
available on AIX. I'm hoping the ctdb log will then contain some more
help debugging the problem. Any other ideas on how to debug this?
Thanks,

Samba/ctdb on AIX 6.1
...The included event script
for managing interfaces is linux specific. Is it possible to allow ctdb
to manage the public cluster IP addresses if I re-write the necessary
scripts to work on AIX. Even better, is there anyone who has already done
this work and can share it?
Thanks,

Password Resets as root
...set password must change flag" and call this after setting the pw.
Does anyone know if there is another way to accomplish this so I don't
have to patch Samba at each release? If there is no way with the current
tools would a patch be accepted to add this?
Thanks,

Fw: Question regarding samba with DFS support
Hello all,
We have a Samba environment to provide DFS access to Windows users.
Most of the users can work with their files in DFS with no problems.
However, at least one of them can not delete his own files in a shared
directory. The following is the setup we have:
OS : AIX 5.3.04
Samba : 3.0.23c-1
Clients : Windows XP Professional
Filesystem: DFS 3.1 at ptfset10 (DCE

CTDB Debug Help
...passdb.tdb earlier on in
the log. I have had a few clusters with this setup for a few years but
this is the first cluster at CTDB 2.5.1 and Samba 4.1.X. I don't think
I've ever had to rebuild a node before so I can't say if my older clusters
have this issue or not.
