equalize / ecmp not working as expected in 2.6 vs 2.4
...ally make use of both
lines.
It seems to me that the multipath with caching support is broken in 2.6.20?
The exact kernel we use is 2.6.20.4, with that kernel how would you specify
a remote route such that packets going to a remote host are sent 50/50 ratio
to two different routers?
Thanks

Routing NDAS ?
...that we have, the
two segments are linked by a linux box that is doing routing and proxy
arp, can anybody suggest a way that I could access the ndas devices, I
can connect to a share on a server that is connected to one of the
devices, but that isn''t very efficient :(

Problems with Routing and Masquerading
Hi,
I have a linux box which balances load between two interfaces ( say WAN1
and WAN2). I have masquerading on for any request coming from LAN to the
outside world.
The setup is in such a way that WAN1 drops packets with source ip
belonging to WAN2''s network and viceversa.
For some strange reason, I find that packet coming out from the WAN
interface has source address of WAN2 and

Routing / NAT for Multi Subnet Router

now I am using Equal Cost MultiPath and when that doesn''t work well with
MASQUERADE, but it does work with SNAT, but with SNAT I cannot use a rule
like that.
Is there a better way to achieve what I desire?
Thanks

Where does iproute ip read the routes from? Is there a proc entry that I can
read to check if the kernel is exposing them or if the fault lies in
iproute?
Thanks

Linux router performance
Hi,
I wonder about the performance of a Linux box used as router (I guest I''m
not the first :). Althought I know it mainly depends on the hardware, I''m
trying to find some references on the topic or comparations with other
routing solutions (FreeBSD box used as router, Cisco, etc). For example,
