Running or Installing

font problem: seems to be misconfigured
Hello, I found fonts are really weird when running firefox 1.1 alpha : all text is printed in italics and special characters are displayed as greek characters; spaces are missing; you can see a screenshot at http://home.planet.nl/~huize784/wine-firefox.png what should I do? I'm thinking something with fonts is misconfigured, but I wouldn't know what I'm seeing this with and without

wine-alsa gives compile errors

IEXPLORE in wine/cvs works!
Hello... Just yesterday, I decided to give the current wine in cvs another try (I was using the monthly version that came out a week ago before that) -- and it seems thing's gotten better as IEXPLORE.EXE *works* (it did in the monthly version, but I hadn't seen it run successfully on wine-cvs before) (last time I installed IE using http://www.frankscorner.org/index.php?p=ie6 method

font problem with wine 0.9.9
I have a font problem with wine 0.9.9 that wasn't there in 0.9.8; In firefox, everything shows ok but file-saving dialogs (and maybe more?) render blocks instead of letters; where should I find the fonts wine used before, and where are they placed? (it seems ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/fonts is the directory that is mentioned?) Also, filezilla shows the same problem - it's far worse in this

Mozilla ActiveX control
Hello, I'm using wine/cvs and I'm trying to get IE6 installed (the windows tree I got using method #2 doesn't work with the current wine/cvs) I setup the config file so wine simulates an nt environment; then, after deselecting VML the download completes; However, wine then complains I do not have the Mozilla ActiveX control installed (for mshtml.dll) Can anyone tell me how to
