problem with RODBC installation
Good morning,
I have some problems installing RODBC to R in a linux cluster. My R version
is:
R version 2.12.0 (2010-10-15)
Platform: x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu (64-bit)
I get the following error:
> install.packages('RODBC')

Markov Switching with TVTP - problems with convergence
...is called "optmum", while R has a function called
"optim". Are these the same? If not, this might be the cause of our
convergence problems.
I would be glad to share the R program with anyone interested, as well as
the panel data used in the analysis.
