[patch 0/2] softlockup watchdog improvements
Here's couple of patches to improve the softlockup watchdog. The first changes the softlockup timer from using jiffies to sched_clock() as a timebase. Xen and VMI implement sched_clock() as counting unstolen time, so time stolen by the hypervisor won't cause the watchdog to bite. The second adds per-cpu enable flags for the watchdog timer. This allows the timer to be disabled when the

vmbus driver
Greg, A few days ago you applied all the outstanding patches for the Hyper-V drivers. With these patches, I have addressed all of the known review comments for the vmbus driver (and a lot of comments/issues in other drivers as well). I am still hoping I can address whatever other issues/comments there might be with the intention to get the vmbus driver out of staging in the current window.

[patch 0/4] Revised softlockup watchdog improvement patches
Hi Ingo, This series of patches implements a number of improvements to the softlockup watchdog and its users. They are: 1. Make the watchdog ignore stolen time When running under a hypervisor, the kernel may lose an arbitrary amount of time as "stolen time". This may cause the softlockup watchdog to trigger spruiously. Xen and VMI implement sched_clock() as measuring unstolen time,

[patch 00/17] paravirt_ops updates
Hi Andi, This series of patches updates paravirt_ops in various ways. Some of the changes are plain cleanups and improvements, and some add some interfaces necessary for Xen. The brief overview: add-MAINTAINERS.patch - obvious remove-CONFIG_DEBUG_PARAVIRT.patch - no longer needed paravirt-nop.patch - mark nop operations consistently paravirt-pte-accessors.patch - operations to pack/unpack

[patch 00/20] paravirt_ops updates
Hi Andi, Here's a repost of the paravirt_ops update series I posted the other day. Since then, I found a few potential bugs with patching clobbering, cleaned up and documented paravirt.h and the patching machinery. Overview: add-MAINTAINERS.patch obvious remove-CONFIG_DEBUG_PARAVIRT.patch No longer meaningful or needed. paravirt-nop.patch Clean up nop paravirt_ops functions, mainly to

[PATCH 0/7] x86 paravirtualization infrastructure
The following patches introduce the core infrastructure needed to paravirtualize the 32-bit x86 Linux kernel. This is done by moving virtualization sensitive insn's or code paths to a function table, paravirt_ops. This structure can be populated with hypervisor specific calls or native stubs and currently support running on bare metal, VMI, Xen, or Lhype. These patches apply to

[PATCH 00/25] xen: Xen implementation for paravirt_ops
Hi Andi, This series of patches implements the Xen paravirt-ops interface. It applies to 2.6.21-rc7 + your patches + the last batch of pv_ops patches I posted. This patch generally restricts itself to Xen-specific parts of the tree, though it does make a few small changes elsewhere. These patches include: - some helper routines for allocating address space and walking pagetables - Xen
