Printing with smbspool_krb5_wrapper not working in Ubuntu 16.04
Hello, I have two computers, one with Ubuntu 14.04 and one with Ubuntu 16.04. On both computers I have configured the printer with cups to print by using my Kerberos credential in the same way and it works in 14.04 but not on 16.04. For both /usr/bin/smbspool_krb5_wrapper is 700 and I have "AuthInfoRequired negotiate" for both in /etc/cups/printers.conf. I have made a symbolic link

Max Print Jobs Problem
I have setup a dedicated print server running on RH 8 with Samba 2.2.5-10 and LPRng-3.8.9-6 to service a HP9000 printer. The print queue for this HP9000 gets it print jobs from a Windows server via a script and the queue is set to HOLDALL status. The HOLDALL status is necessary because the script runs overnight to produce the print jobs which can total anywhere from 500 to 12,000 individual print

I have two classes Person and Job defined as follows: class Person < ActiveRecord::Base :has_and_belongs_to_many jobs def add_job(job_name) job = Job.find_by_name(job_name) # See if this job exists if job.nil? # If this job doesn''t exist job = Job.new # Create a new job job.name = job_name #

Calculating Goodman-Kurskal's gamma using delta method
Dear list, I have a problem on calculating the standard error of Goodman-Kurskal's gamma using delta method. I exactly follow the method and forumla described in Problem 3.27 of Alan Agresti's Categorical Data Analysis (2nd edition). The data I used is also from the job satisfaction vs. income example from that book. job <- matrix(c(1, 3, 10, 6, 2, 3, 10, 7, 1, 6, 14, 12, 0, 1, 9,

Printing with smbspool_krb5_wrapper not working in Ubuntu 16.04
Unless somebody has an "aha!" moment and figures it out immediately, could you please file a bug in launchpad for this issue and attach the relevant config files and logs (for samba and cups)? https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/samba/+filebug Thanks On Fri, Aug 4, 2017 at 12:22 PM, Van Svensson via samba < samba at lists.samba.org> wrote: > Hello, > > I have

[LLVMdev] LLVM 3.6: problems building on Windows using MSVC 2013
Hi, I have been using LLVM+Clang in my project for some time and it has been working just fine up to now (I am currently using version 3.5.1). However, with version 3.6 having just been released, I thought I would give it a try and update my code to use MCJIT rather than the now discontinued JIT. Well, this proved to be a relatively smooth process, and everything is now working fine on

[PATCH drm-misc-next] drm/nouveau: sched: avoid job races between entities
If a sched job depends on a dma-fence from a job from the same GPU scheduler instance, but a different scheduler entity, the GPU scheduler does only wait for the particular job to be scheduled, rather than for the job to fully complete. This is due to the GPU scheduler assuming that there is a scheduler instance per ring. However, the current implementation, in order to avoid arbitrary amounts of

Printing with smbspool_krb5_wrapper not working in Ubuntu 16.04
Thanks for your reply! I have now filed a bug in launchpad (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/samba/+bug/1708817). When I compare the cups error_log with 14.04 where it does work I see that 16.04 uses two backslashes when setting KRB5CCNAME while 14.04 does not use backslashes, maybe that is the problem? Sometimes the cups error_log also have the below line "HTTP_STATE_WAITING

Jobs running too slow
Say I have a job that runs every minute, but it takes longer than a minute to execute. Will it start a new job every minute? If it does, then how would I make a job that sleeps for a certain amount of time, then restarts? I have a job that could take an hour or two to complete, and I don''t want to have multiple copies of that job running at the same time. Joe
