%s and %f in the print command expand to the same thing.
...9;%s' is not preceded by a '/'" does it means the character just before the "%" or does it means anywhere in the line? I can explain why %s is not expanding to the full path name. Could anyone help me figure this out? Saludos, Orlando Orlando M. Amador oamador@obipr.jnj.com <mailto:oamador@obipr.jnj.com> (787) 854-1800 x2294

Windows can't see Samba server in Network Neigborhood
I have a private IP network with one win98 PC and one Linux PC. The windows machine can only access shares if I map a network drive and type the path in explicitly. When I go to network neighborhood the Linux PC does not show up. Both machines are in the same workgroup, so it should be there. panel.levelplot() for 2D histograms
Dear R-wizards, I'm trying to plot "binned scatterplots", or 2d histograms, if you wish, for a number of groups by using the lattice functionality it works fine for one group at a time, and probably I could find a work-around, but I prefer to do it the elegant way here's an example of what I want, what I tried and where it goes wrong: require(gregmisc) require(lattice) #toy

Question on ldBands function in Hmisc package by Harrell
Has anyone tried to download Hmisc and used ldBands function for calculating Lan-Demets group sequential boundaries? The write-up in F.Harrell's website indicates that, besides downloading the package Hmisc, one needs to copy the progra ld98 from the University of Wisconsin website.
