SAMBA and Windows 95
...don't allow it. I don't know how to read the Windows password.
I did try using the name.map file : unixname = windowsname but it
didn't work as I expected it to.
Could anyone help me out with how I would go about this please?

space allocation vs. thin provisioning
Short question:
I''m curious as to how ZFS manages space (free and used) and how
its usage interacts with thin provisioning provided by HDS
arrays. Is there any effort to minimize the number of provisioned
disk blocks that get writes so as to not negate any space
benefits that thin provisioning may give?

...the file disappears
as if deleted, but when the window is refreshed...it reappears! I
monitored this operation
in unix while the user deleted the file and it never really is deleted
from the file system.
Anyone have any ideas what might be happening or how I can fix this?
