Problem jioning domain using "net rpc join"
Hi,
I have a samba PDC running on Centos4 with several hundred Windows PS's using
it for authentication.
I've just upgraded the fileserver which serves the users home directories to
Centos5. The problem is how to get the upgraded fileserver to join the
existing domain.
On the server JANUS I have an account for the upgraded fileserver
in /etc/passwd same as before.

Samba on different subnets without wins
Dear all
i am running Samba 2.x ,and want to share unix
directory with only one windows host in Windows 2003
domain . both Samba and windows are in differnet
subnet
we are not using any wins server in my network , im
unable to jion the domain .
