rec_free_read bad magic and tdb corruption with Samba 2.2.3
...blem? Up to now I haven't figured out how to reproduce the problem despite the fact it's happened before (perhaps this is the fourth or fifth time including 2.2.2, the first for 2.2.3, and the first time those "bad magic" errors came out). Thank you very much in advance. --> Jijo PS- I am not part of this list and will appreciate if I can be cc'd replies. Re: samba oplocks problem
...Or something like that. :( Anyway, no data corruption so far since oplocks have been turned off. I've been told whatever problem it is I'm running into has been solved in Samba's CVS. Perhaps the next release (post 2.2.3a) will bring the possibility of turning oplocks back on. --> Jijo -- Federico Sevilla III :: jijo@leathercollection.ph Network Administrator :: The Leather Collection, Inc. ..., probably using md5sum. I can't do this right now because it's hogging the system and taking forever. The smaller files seem to be okay. I tested an arbitrary file using md5sum and the "view" of smbfs and the fielsystem are the same. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance! :) --> Jijo -- Federico Sevilla III :: jijo@leathercollection.ph Network Administrator :: The Leather Collection, Inc. GnuPG Key: <http://jijo.leathercollection.ph/jijo.gpg>
