Equivalent of java httpclient
Hi everyone,
I''m trying to post from a controller to another application, with one of the
post parameters being a multipart file attachment. What do you recommend for
this process? From what I could gather from doing searches I need to use
something like Net::HTTP or open-uri, but I cannot find how to add
attachments to these. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Abdullah

Slider: passing the slider object to onChange and onSlide?
I''m working with a couple of slider objects on one page.
I''m using onChange to do a couple of things. onChange passes the new value

smbclient error
Hi,
I've installed Samba on AIX 4.3 machine named ibmf40, and the domain name is
vercom.
This is how the smb.conf file looks:
[global]
netbios name = ibmf40
workgroup = vercom
server string = Samba Server
security = user
However I get an error when trying to run smbclient as follows:
ibmf40 /usr/local/samba/bin # ./smbclient -L ibmf40 -N
added interface ip=65.45.28.4

Ruby on Rails and MS Access
How do I connect an existing or new Access database with Ruby on
Rails?
I am new to Ruby on Rails and a tutorial I am going through mentions
using MySQL but I don''t have MySQL and only work with MS Access.
Is MySQL available for free on the web? Thanks.

date_select-like functionality for phone numbers
Hi all,
I''m trying to achieve something similar to what date_select does but
for a phone number field. Whats the best way (or can you point me to
the date_select related code) to do this?
Thanks!
Abdullah

Adding attributes to acts_as_taggable
Hi All,
I want to add additional attributes to my tags besides just the tag
name itself. Is this possible with acts_as_taggable or is there a
better approach?
Thanks,
Abdullah
