subject: horizontal text in barplot
I have a problem with the ylabs in barplot. When I draw the bars
horizontal the text for the y axis is not drawn horizontal too.
The text remains vertical. How can I change that. Thank's for your advice.
There is an example below.
##Example
plot.new()
jib <- data.frame(c(1:15),c(11:25),c(15:1),c(25:11))
colnames(jib) <- c("eins","zwei","drei","vier")
rownames(jib) <- c("AT", "BE", "DK", "FI", "FR", "DE",

FWD and IAX2
Hi,
I had a FWD account set up with asterisk (using SIP) and it was working
fine both ways. I switched to IAX2 and now I can't get incoming calls
from FWD. People who call my FWD number get a "480 - user is not online"
message without any traffic reaching my box. I can call FWD numbers fine
over IAX2.
It seems fwd isn't trying to place the call over IAX2 because it thinks

IAX2 Trunk Problems with NAT
Hi,
I have successfully configured an IAX trunk between 2 asterisks, calls can
go through both ways without any problems, NAT in the middle of course
(iptables)
Now , leave them for a while , and make a call from the external server ,
it doesn't go through,
Dial from the internal one, everything works fine again..
Now , it is clearly a problem in the NAT engine,

Rails configuration for sessions
I''m trying to get the configuration done for sessions but I can''t seem
to find any documentation on how to do it beyond the merest of basics.
I would rather have something that would NOT persist a marshalled object
to the database since that''s just not something I want to do. I want to
be able to read the data for one.
But there''s really nothing to

A way to handle looong executions?
Is there somewhere I can specify a maximum execution time for a given
request. (Eg, someone does something in my application that brings about
and infinite loop). The idea of potentially huge queries or even a
programmer mistake
is not impossible, and I have a hard time accepting that I will
release an
application that has no way of handling that.
