CentOS 5 & USB Kickstart?
...tart installations? I'm passing "linux ks=hd:sdb1:/ks.cfg," but I get a message saying it can't find the ks.cfg file and I should enter another path. smbclient & NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE
...retty sure the username and password is correct since it works when I use a Windows client to connect to the fileserver. What does the NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE mean in this context? RSA question
...erver has the identity.pub file from my client computer, I'm allowed in regardless if the public key of the client is in the ssh_known_hosts on the server. serial console config package?

rsync and smbfs
...p two directories in a Windows 2000 share onto a RH9 linux computer. The problem I appear to be having is rsync copying file that already exist and haven't changed since the previous rsync backup process. Why would rsync believe the file has changed? server response slow...
...app is VC++ trying to read files off the server. When you click on a file to open, it waits a second or so before the contents actually pop up. We are switched directly to the samba server. ...properly. When we do a tcpdump, we see traffic flowing between the asterisk server and the Avaya communication manager. However, we're not geting phone calls connect. sharing subdirectories
...subdirectory, the new file/directory is not being created with the proper group. However, if it's that new file/folder is written to \\server\subdirectory, then it is correct. denied X11 forwarding
This has to be a FAQ, but I can't find anything on it at the web site. I've installed openssh on several computers now and have yet to get X11 forwarding to work.
