...erver has the identity.pub file from my client computer, I'm allowed in regardless if the public key of the client is in the ssh_known_hosts on the server. ...subdirectory, the new file/directory is not being created with the proper group. However, if it's that new file/folder is written to \\server\subdirectory, then it is correct.
