Call for testing for 3.6: password expiry?
I have tried this patch (against 3.5p1) and would very much like it to be in the OpenSSH 3.6p1 release, if possible:
http://bugzilla.mindrot.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14
On that note, I'd like the Sun BSM patch to be included also, if possible. I have it working applied to 3.5p1:
http://bugzilla.mindrot.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125
In fact, both patches work together, apparently.

Can someone please enlighten me on whether this kind of code is going
to be included in the main development ? I thought this would be handled
automatically by the krb5 libraries, so I was suprised to find that password
changing doesn't work in the SSH

virsh snapshot
Hi,
I had a 'domain' called APP03. I was performing auto snapshots each night using /usr/bin/virsh snapshot-create APP03 .
I then wanted the domain to be called APP01 for clarity's sake, so I did virsh dumpxml APP03 > APP03.xml, edited the name to APP01 and changed the ID. I then did virsh define APP03.xml to get APP01.
I have now realised that the qcow2 images are huge (1.1TB

RadRails vs. Textmate
Is there anyone out there can give me a comparison between RadRails/
Aptana and Textmate? I have been using skEdit for all of my general
coding stuff, but I am now looking into getting a new editor for my
Ruby/Rails work. I know that most Mac users swear by Textmate, but I
would really like to hear some comparisons between RadRails, Textmate,
and even skEdit as well.
What your thoughts and

Rebuild of kernel 2.6.9-67.0.20.EL failure
Hello list.
I'm trying to rebuild the 2.6.9.67.0.20.EL kernel, but it fails even without
modifications.
How did I try it?
Created a (non-root) build environment (not a mock )
Installed the kernel.scr.rpm and did a
rpmbuild -ba --target=`uname -m` kernel-2.6.spec 2> prep-err.log | tee
prep-out.log
The build failed at the end:
Processing files: kernel-xenU-devel-2.6.9-67.0.20.EL

Password expiry in auth-krb5.c
Due to difficulties in getting PAM (with krb5) password expiry working
consistently on multiple platforms, I'd like to see if I could hack
something into auth-krb5.c to do so.
Here's a backtrace when stopped in auth_krb5_password:
#0 auth_krb5_password (authctxt=0x8e148, password=0x90250 "XXXXXXXX") at auth-krb5.c:270

Can''t destroy corrupted pool
Ok, so I''m planning on wiping my test pool that seems to have problems
with non-spare disks being marked as spares, but I can''t destroy it:
# zpool destroy -f zmir
cannot iterate filesystems: I/O error
Anyone know how I can nuke this for good?
Jim
