OCFS and BCM5700
...ust tracing the root of the problems by identify each product installed the server, including OCFS. But there is no problem with my Public NIC Channel, which is having deferent made. My question is : From OCFS point of view is there any chance that OCFS is conflicting with the BCM5700 NIC? Thanks Jeram

question about oracle shared home install
Hi All, Scenario: I'm trying to install 9i rac on a 2 node cluster on OCFS2 OS: Oracle enterprise linux To my understanding, OCFS2 supports shared home installs which to my knowledge is not only can i have datafile and control files but also clustermanager files and binaries (pretty much everything: no files or executables need to kept local to any nodes). ...digits value continuously, then I unmount all the OCFS filesystem, again monitor the IO using VMSTAT, column IO (bo and bi) it's giving 1 digits value, any idea why this is happen? I have raised this issue to HP engineers who provide the HW, have not got the answer yet. Thanks in advance Rgds/Jeram

OCFS filesystem used 7%
...my mount points already use 7% of space, even when I check the directory is empty. When I re-format it, it release the space for a while, after 1 or 2 days, the space is used again for 7% - 10 %. What could be the reason? I am using RHAS 2.1 Enterprise Kernel 2.1 and OCFS release 1.0.9-6 Thanks Jeram
