OggPCM version / header finalization
I have OggPCM (as currently defined) support implemented in mencoder and mplayer. I'd like to request that we settle on modifications to this header by the middle of next week or freeze the current header as the official major version 1.0, so I can get the patches cleaned up and released. We will be shipping a separate product based on this work in the near-term future, and compatability

OggPCM madness
...for writing OggPCM, means *you* should have listened to what other people were saying much more than the other way round. Just pushing things like that as "Xiph standard" without letting anyone time to say anything is very annoying. Oh, and I dislike the fact statements like: "Monty, JeanMarc, and Josh have all written Ogg audio codecs, and will likely be working with this in the future, so their approval is sought". Not only have you never asked for my approval (I've been brought in this by Silvia) but you pretty much ignored my comments when I disapproved. Now, I'm not s...

OggPCM proposal feedback
...f an issue becomes too "hot", it's dropped for a period of time (often months). We work by rough consensus of affected parties. Outside developers who will be implementing the format, such as Josh, are involved because the design decidions effect them too. You were asked to contribute feedback b...

This question is both for the ZFS forum and the Zones forum. I have a global zone with a pool (mapool). I have 2 zones, z1 and z2,. I want to pass a dataset (mapool/fs1) from z1 to z2. Solution 1 : mapool/fs1 is mounted under /thing on the global zone (legacy) and I configure a lofs on z1 and z2. add zonecfg:z1> add fs zonecfg:z1:fs> set dir=/thing zonecfg:z1:fs> set special=/fs1

Exported resources not in the catalog
Hi, I''m trying to use Puppet ability to export and collect resources using PuppetDB. My PuppetDB and Puppet Master are running on the same host and I used the PuppetDB puppet module to install PuppetDB and configure the Puppet master. Each time the puppet agent runs on a client, the facts and the catalog are being pushed in PuppetDB and I can query the PuppetDB server to get
