Adding a new DC to an existing Windows domain.
...r ns-master's FQDN, after
gathering it from an SOA lookup on its own name.
What sort of configuration would I be missing here that's keeping this from
working correctly? A search on google for the tkey error above doesn't
result in a while lot of hits.
Thansk in advance for any help!

symbolic manipulations
Hi All,
I copied code from an Splus manual to take symbolic derivatives:
my.deriv <- function( mathfunc, var )
{
tmp <- substitute(mathfunc)
name <- deparse(substitute(var))
D(tmp, name)
}
(The code also works in R).

size limits
Hi,
I have a few questions about how to handle large data sets in R.
What is the size of the largest matrix that R can comfortably deal with?
Is this size limit imposed by R's software, or is it a question
of the machine that one runs on?
How does one go about choosing reasonable values of vsize
and nsize?
I have a data set with about 1,000,000 rows, and 30

Ceph on btrfs 3.4rc
After running ceph on XFS for some time, I decided to try btrfs again.
Performance with the current "for-linux-min" branch and big metadata
is much better. The only problem (?) I''m still seeing is a warning
that seems to occur from time to time:

NFS/ZFS performance problems - txg_wait_open() deadlocks?
Hi.
System is snv_56 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-V440, zil_disable=1
We see many operation on nfs clients to that server really slow (like 90 seconds for unlink()).
It''s not a problem with network, there''s also plenty oc CPU available.
Storage isn''t saturated either.
First strange thing - normally on that server nfsd has about 1500-2500 number of threads.

Linksys PAP2t-NA and Asterisk
I've got a PAP2 that I've got working with asterisk. At the moment, its
configured so that when a phone is picked up on it, it connects to Asterisk.
My hope is that I can let Asteirsk handle the entire dialplan, including
dial tone generation. What would my context in extenstions.conf look like
for this sort of dialing. More accurately, how can I get Asterisk to
generate the dial tone on
