Generating axes with "Sun Apr 20 22:45:27 PDT 2003" time coordinates.
...coordinates. What do I need to do to accomplish this? Any help will be greatly appreciated, as I have looked at the help pages, and the web, to no avail. I would also be more than happy to purchase a book that contains information to this level of detail if that is available. Thank You, John Jaynes

Problem starting Asterisk - libssl.so.4 cannot be found
I'm sure this is a pretty basic problem, unfortunately I am a telecomms rather than a Linux person so any suggestions would be most appreciated. I have successfully downloaded and installed the various Asterisk packages. However, when I try to start Asterisk, I immediately get a message saying module 'libssl.so.4' cannot be found and the startup is halted. I don't have this

configure: error: cannot compute sizeof (int), 77
Dear R Discussion Group, Thanks for making such an interesting and capable Statistics package available. It certainly "saved my bacon" during this past academic quarter. I have had no trouble at all installing the sources on my linux box: The configure and make scripts work perfectly. I have had no luck attempting to install these at work, though. My workplace uses a Solaris 8

PRI Woes continue
System is built on a SuperMicro motherboard with Serverworks chipset, IRQ is not shared. Have a dialplan that worked for 8 months without errors, tried reverting to older release then upgraded to 1.0.3 stable release, currently running on fedora core 1 kernel 2.4.22-nptl.2199 (have tried plain jayne), telco says "it's not us", HDLC abort seems to occur when when a Zap channel hangs up... no luck in searching the list, no luck on google, ready to scrap the T400p card, waitin on callback from digium, thought I'd post this log. Anyone make any sense of these errors? http://w...

How to plot line, points, using Dates as X-axis
Hello, I have an x, y data set of circa 966 points, and counting, where I am trying to plot one integer y-axis number per a corresponding x-axis date, in R. The command plot(initialPlot$Dates, initialPlot$AxisData), where $Dates is 2007-07-24:2010-03-15, and $AxisData is the corresponding y coordinates, results in an accurate x-axis, but unusable plot, as lines and points are not generated, only
