UPS Requiring URB_INTERRUPT with Megatec Protocol

Observing the usb chatter in wireshark showed that the UPSmart program
received and sent an URB_INTERRUPT to 0x81 EP. This was happening in a
pattern of receive/send URB_INTERRUPT followed by 5 GET_DESCRIPTOR
request/respond.
The UPS is cheap and cheerful, details can be found here

I opened the case up and removed the comms board, but there's nothing much

asterisk + door opener
...box we can get here in Australia that has an RJ45 plug, a built
in web server that has a config page and URL's to close/open one of 4
included relays. I use phpagi to hit the url and open/close doors that
way. If anyone is interested, ill let you know URL's but its being sold
from our local Jaycar agent.

This was the same thing I got to, the last time I looked into that
(after #307, there have been some other topics on the lists or on
GitHub, I can't remember exactly now).

IAXy Power in Australia?
Does anyone know a place in Australia that sells a power supply
suitable for the IAXy? I haven't had any luck tracking one down.
