I have downloaded the EE JDK 5.07 for Linux from Sun. If I try and run java_ee_sdk-5_07-linux.bin as a normal user it works fine and I get the gui installer to appear. ...t are trying to write manifests to select the appropriate package architecture, I''m writing to get feedback on this. In particular, is ''x64'' the least surprising option? Some examples where this x64 is used: Windows Server x64 splunk-4.2.4-110225-x64-release.msi java_ee_sdk-6u4-jdk7-windows-x64.exe Or would you expect the architecture to be ''amd64'' or ''x86_64''?
