Good day all, I have been searching on google for the recommended repo for php 5.2.3 + for centos... I saw at one point it was in the testing repo, but was pulled due to no one testing it. Is there a recommended repo that people feel is safe for a CentOS 5.x to get php 5.23 + ? I know i can compile and install, but i like to keep as "vanilla" as possible. Thanks in advance.

We're looking at SugarCRM 5, but they strongly recommend PHP 5.2.4. Looking around I see that a few individuals are maintaining repos for CentOS, but I'd prefer to get it from one of the larger repositories. Anyone out there using http://www.jasonlitka.com/yum-repository/ ? Any idea when PHP 5.2x will be available? --Chris

hello all: I want to install ModSecurity v2.5.4 in my system. I do the following setup to install the lua tar -xzvf lua-5.1.3.tar.gz cd lua-5.1.3/src make linux cd .. make install The ModSecurity ask me to add "LoadFile /usr/lib/liblua5.1.so" to the http.conf,but there is no liblua5.1.so in /usr/lib. I have search it and i didn't find the solution. Can any one tell me why

Greetings, We have someone requesting the use of Wordpress 3.3.1. It requires PHP 5.2 minimum. Currently, our machine is running CentOS 5.7. What are the issues/concerns in upgrading from PHP 5.1 (the current PHP rpms) to PHP53? Much thanks, Max Pyziur pyz at brama.com

Bit of an emergency as I'm told this laptop has to leave here in 15 minutes, I've gone ahead and configured, made, installed PHP 5.2 but an httpd restart still only sees the old PHP 5.0.4, I think there's a fairly simple way to get it to find the 5.2 version I've just installed but can't think what.
