...link.click }.to make {div.visible?}.in(2) # use ActiveSupport for adding more meaning to numbers require "active_support" div.should exist.in(2.minutes) What do you guys think? Should i add that also into rspec-expectations to make spec-ing easier where timing is involved? :) Jarmo Pertman ----- IT does really matter - http://www.itreallymatters.net

[rspec] http://rspec.info examples are broken
It seems that some examples at http://rspec.info are broken with invalid html. For example: http://rspec.info/documentation/before_and_after.html All those spans there should not be visible, I think :) Isn''t rspec.info web tested well enough? :P Best regards, Jarmo

Firefox and Flash
Hi, I have CentOS 5.1 with the latest updates running on all my desktops. Firefox has the flash-plugin from RPMForge installed, and I think this is the cause that it crashes quite often. Is there a more stable Flash plugin somewhere? I had a similar problem on Slackware 12.0 with the "stable" plugin from Adobe. I replaced that with the "development" version from

Other way would be to rename all my tests to _spec.rb, which wouldn''t be also too big of a job. But the question still remains. Jarmo. Sorry for this little offtopic question, but I was wondering if anyone happens to know if there''s any good conferences coming up about rspec or ruby or watir in this year where I could attend to? Or any good website where such things are listed or something similar. All suggested conferences should not take place before one month from now (employer needs some time to get good
