'Dynamic' 3D plot
Hi, I am looking for a R package to draw 3d plot. But not in a static way like scatterplot3d or stuff like that. I would like to make rotate the plot, to zoom/unzoom etc..., actually to render the graph 'dynamic'... (for the biologist and bioinformatician, a R package which permitts to reproduce what pdb viewer does). Does a Way exist to do something like that in R ? Thanks,

Is it R or I?
Salutations: I have been trying to translate a S-PLUS/ArcInfo (GIS software) application that I wrote on a SGI (IRIX) platform to public domain R and GrassGIS on a Linux platform. I am almost on the verge of abandoning it as I find R to be rather unstable, slow and frustrating. I enclose a section of my code for R experts to examine hoping that they'll point out that all the above three are

The use for an XML based metadata format
Daniel, these are all good ideas and worth progressing. However, it may be better not to merge too many goals in one format (MPEG-7 did that and ended up as a big mess). So, I suggest to start by structuring the types of things you want - then finding out which parts belong where into existing formats such as vorbis comment, Skeleton and CMML, and only then start to develop a new format.
