[LLVMdev] Building pass out of source with cmake: undefined symbol error
...spurious symbol disappears. Blargh, that was complicated. I'm going to try an out-of-source cmake build now. So far this has been a soliloquy, hope it helps someone else.

[LLVMdev] Building pass out of source with cmake: undefined symbol error
...experiment building out of source manually with the cmake build and autotools build. I should've mentioned that I'm attempting this with the hello world pass example.

Problems with DOS printing from W2K on Samba
...ons everything works fine, even if logging in with the same username (hanne) as
on the W2K machine.
The samba server is setup as a domain controller, but the W2K machine is not part of that domain. It
just has the same workgroup name as the samba domain.
Any suggestions.
Thanks in advance

How is the Samba people stress testing Samba.
...se is based on Paradox.
I'm thinking of reviewing my old DOS program (if I can find the source code) and see what happens if it's recompiled with a
new compiler. I Think the program was compiled with Borland C 3.0.
Any suggestions (besides moving back to Win98).
Thanks in advance

Convert string to time
One variable contains values (1.30 - one hour and thirty minutes, 1.2
(which is supposed to be 1.20 - one hour and twenty minutes)). I would
like to convert to a minute variable so 1.2 is converted to 80
minutes. How?

Localhost traffic and ipfw rules
I seem to be stumped on this one. I have TCP packets destined to my external interface from 127.0.0.1 (Ack+Reset zero data) with source MAC of my default gateway and I can't seem to block this traffic.
Snort picked up the traffic and I have confirmed with tcpdump. So I decided I needed to examine my anti-spoof rules. I already had this one

Supermicro AOC-SAT2-MV8 and 1TB Seagate Barracuda ES.2
Hi all,
I''m getting a very strange problem with a recent OpenSolaris b134 install.
System is:
Supermicro X5DP8-G2 BIOS 1.6a
2x Supermicro AOC-SAT2-MV8 1.0b
11 Seagate Barracuda 1TB ES.2 ST31000340NS drives
If I have any of the 11 1TB Seagate drives plugged into the controller,
the AOC-SAT2-MV8 BIOS appears to detect them just fine, but I get the
following problems:

Beta-announcement - xenConsole for your Xen
Hello all,
I''ve been running Xen 2.0x for some few months and have written a
simple top(1)-like tool - xenConsole - which continously displays all
running domains, along with their CPU-consumption, load averages,
percentual CPU-/memory-usage, domain uptimes and so forth.
A screenshot probably explains it better than me:

Problems connecting to remote mysql db
Hi,
I am having a problem connecting to a remote mysql db and I can''t
figure out what the problem is. When I try to connect I get the error:
getaddrinfo: no address associated with hostname.
I have looked all over for clues as to what that means but I haven''t
been able to find anything that helps. I have no problems connecting
to the database with php and with the mysql query

Updates to plotrix and clinsig
...barp) that
was suggested on this very list a few weeks ago. This function will plot
nested breakdowns of numeric values by one or more factors. It seems
quite useful for visualizing the deviations in successively finer
divisions of the data. Comments are welcome.
clinsig (1.0-1 - basically the Jacobsen & Truax clinical significance
tests with a few extras) has had a few rough edges knocked off with
continued use. I would also like to hear from users of this little package.
Have fun.

Or, I could be completely off base and neither of these solutions would be
correct. FYI, I coded up solution (B) and it seems to work. Also, are there
any other places in the source where a similar change might need to be made?
Any comments, opinions, or advice are welcome.
Thanks.

Help with compile on HP-UX 11.0
I'm having quite a bit of trouble with 2.2.7a and HP-UX 11.0. I've attempted
to compile (configure && make) with aCC (aCC: HP ANSI C++ B3910B A.03.13),
and gcc versions 2.95.1, and 3.2. (A few others as well, but that's not,
perhaps, relevant here.) Let's assume I'm using gcc 2.95.1. The first
configure error I see in config.log is:

Unwanted "Printers" directory
Had to upgrade to Samba 2.2.8 in order to incororate Samba with new CUPS
1.1.19 software. All runs fine, but now have an unwanted "Printers"
directory in my user's Samba window. I've removed all shares listed in
SWAT, including the "Printers" share, but the directory is somehow still
being generated by Samba. Is there any way to cause Samba to either

Samba on HP Itanium
I've down loaded Samba from HP's web sight and installed according to
instructions. Loaded all support files and programs, but still when I

"libldap.so". Which is true, it is no where on the system. Although
other "linldap" files are. If I do a search for "libldap.so" I can't

defaultexpiry & maxexpiry on peer level
Hello
is it possible to determine the SIP.conf parameters 'defaultexpirty' and
'maxexpiry' on a peer basis ?
My default value is 300 seconds, but some specific SIP-clients can only
send a SIP REGISTER every 3600 seconds. In current configuration these
SIP peers now become "Unreachable" after 300 seconds.
Or is there another way to differentiate ?
Kind regards.
