rsync documentation for "--server" option?
Hello, The rsync man page shows example invocations that use the "--server" option. I could not find documentation for this option (a) in the man page (b) in the HTML man page on the website (c) in the "--help" help. I therefore found these examples to be confusing. Is there anywhere where I can find documentation for the "--server" option? As a result of not

System error 66 has occured
I have been setting up a PDC with one XP client. After about three weeks of smb.conf changes, I understand/like my settings, and it *was* working great. (I've read a zillion times both O'Reilly "Using Samba" books (1st and 2nd editions), and John Blair's (Samba Team) "Samba Integrating UNIX and Windows" book.) This morning I decided to rebuld the XP client since

isolinux bug?
Please forgive me if this is a known issue or "feature". I didn't notice anything in the list archives or the docs, so I'm assuming this is a bug. I wasn't following the steps exactly as I had some personal changes I wanted to make. One

SER and NAT
I have a really simple question about a fairly complex problem: I have a Cisco 7960 behind a NAT. I have an Asterisk server behind a different NAT. I have a SER server (with rtpproxy installed) on a public IP adress. I've opened ports with static NAT to * and the Cisco. Without using SER, I can register the phone to *, I can complete calls, I just can't move audio. Reading the

Apparent SNMP remote-root vulnerability.
I just had a remote root break-in on my machine (x86 running Red Hat Linux 5.0 with all the updates except for kernel-2.0.32-3) this morning at 06:03:28 EDT. From what I''ve been able to gather, it appears to have been through snmpd, which I missed when I was weeding out unused daemons. Sorry for the feeble message, but all I know (or at least strongly suspect) is that there''s a
