Union of two data frames
Hi,
I have two data frames each with 5 columns and different number of
rows. some of the row names in one data frame are the same as the row
names in the other. I want to be able to merge the two data frames to
get a new data frame in which the duplicated row names are only shown
once with the data for the rest of the columns used from the first
data frame.
Essentially, I want to make a union

Mandrake & CAPI
All,
I have been trying to get CAPI4Linux working on my machine and being
frank am failing miserably! I am looking for any help available, I am
real newbie (so please be gentle) and choose to run Mandrake 9.2 as it
appears quite friendly (or so I thought!).

section of login.c that appears to send the host and uid of the user to a

Trouble with R and cronjobs
I am having problems with trying to run R from a crontab job. I have a
c-shell file that calls the R script. I get an error concerning the X11
display (see below). I have included the c-shell file and the output from
the crontab job. It appears that my DISPLAY environmental variable is not
set. Is that necessary, even when the output of the plot command is to a png
file? Can someone tell me how to
