Compare it with the other setup.
See where it differs.

Sorry Geert but I think the one that has to talk about his setup and the gear
used in his measurements (Spirent?, Ixia?, a school ruler?) should be the one
that claims the above mentioned fantastic figures.

[Bridge] Measuring Bridge Performance (+ebtables/iptables)
...ending up with all machines sending and receiving. On the bridge I used
vnstat and iptraf to measure the throughput. I also wrote a perl script which is reading the device
counters from /proc to calculate an average.
On my search I found this, which is pretty interessting, but I don't have an Ixia testing device.

Is it worth to rent such a device or are there any good ways to create a similar setup?
Why I'm not satisfied with my tests? There's a production setup running, which is working at much
higher packet/through...

testing they have proposed required manual intervention and subjective
analysis. I am not comfortable deploying the solution in this manner
without some subjective measurement device being able to validate the
function.
So, we have looked at a number of products already, including Tektronix and
IXIA; all of which promised to be able to decode your CODEC; none of which
actually demonstrated as such.
I need some help with this, and was hoping you may be able to point me in
the correct direction.
What commercial VOIP test products can I turn to in order to objectively
evaluate your CODEC; in or...
