Samba BDC with LDAP support
Hi, PDC works fine, but Samba BDC doesn't make its job. In srvmgr.exe PDC, BDC appear, but when I kill smb PDC's process, normaly BDC may give a response to smb request. My problem... spk4 / windows 2000 / samba / ldap
hello, I have had no problem to login to a domaine samba from a machine. After i have installed windows spk4, a message tell me i can't load itinerant profile. i don't use the profile section in smb.conf, the information is in ldap server what happened and what to do to resolve this problem sincerely

samba profiles
Hi, sorry for my bad English... I have a samba 2.2.6 configure as an NT PDC and I want to apply the same parameters for all of my itinerants users. As the /etc/skel directory for the home's directory should i place in an directory windows param?ters files (Application data, local settings, ...) for samba copy it for new users ? Thanks

On the various technical issues raised here (OK, we posted the rules, we won't discuss the legality anymore) I think there is only one main obstacle to using FRS radios for extensions on *. They are simplex (push-to-talk, release-to-listen). The protocol for dealing with voice-activated-switching (VOX) has been used in ham and public safety simplex autopatches but it's really tricky

You don't need to reinvent anything to tie radios to *. Ham systems like IRLP, Echolink, eqso etc all have fairly tight controls to keep from being abused (although with a little Linux knowledge, the IRLP package can easily be used to set up your own network using their protocol). Jim Dixon seems to have done the work to integrate radios with * already. See
