SIP, IAX2 and ISDN ISUP data
Hi all, I'm looking at my options for getting access to ISDN ISUP fields from DDI numbers, when connecting to a 3rd party Asterisk server. This is for a custom voicemail solution, and at this stage I want to avoid renting a PRI. The information I need to capture is: - Calling Number - Called Number (e.g. the DDI handling the call) - Redirecting Number (e.g. the...

SIP Trunking Mantra (Origination)
.... What we are interested in finding out is: * How are service providers that offer "virtual pris" interconnected with their suppliers? I would imagine that some (non-CLECS), are renting a connection from the LECs, and grouping PRI/ISDN trunks (option 2). And others (CLECS), have a A-Link/ISUP trunk interconnect to the CO. - Which brings up a second question. How does a PRI trunk group differ from an ISUP trunk. I don't know much about and ISUP trunks and would *really* appreciate having someone educate us on (i) the concept, (ii) what type of equipment would be needed, (...

CALLERID(ani2) inserting
I checked https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Manipulating+Party+ID+Information But I cannot find a way to insert CALLERID(ani2), which I can read, but when I try to set it for a new call, I get a runtime error. This information, known as isup-oli comes embedded in the From header, like this <sip:9087311878 at 64.45.157.104:5060;isup-oli=62>;tag=sansay1724414rdb124 and it can be read by using Set(var=${CALLERID(ani2)} But how do we add that information to the outbound INVITE? This is critical in the toll-free industry and call-from...

Help in Overlaying of 2 Plots on the same Device.
I'm trying to overlay a density plot on a previously plotted histogram. However, i need to use the same axis as of the 1st(histogram) plot to plot the second. My second plot is creating its own axis and causing my plot to extend the entire histogram instead of getting a subplot on a portion of the histogram. I tried 'fig' and 'new' parameters with no luck. Thanks in advance.

SIP multipart mime messages
I was messing about integration of a Cirpack softswitch with Asterisk and banged my head against a problem previously noted on the list. http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/2003-November/026436.ht ml What is the status of this problem? Has it been fixed? I scrambled through chan_sip.c, but couldn't find ay reference to "multipart". Regards, Jesper Dalberg
