great idea for jitter buffer
The receiver could send the packet list that the he lost directly via p2p to the clients.
1. it isnt much data to send.
2. you safe the way throught servers.
Now the sender sends the data again to the server. Or if it isnt much to send he could
send it directly....
How about that?

Thanks in advance

A little test will show what I mean. I have the following "test.csv":

Read 2 records

syslinux hard drive boot problem
...nux...) for many
benefits. (memory fingerprint, etc)
Its running perfectly, and exactly how I like it, except.
LOCALBOOT 0
DOES NOT actually mount and boot the hard drive. All it seems to be doing
is actually return error to the BIOS, which then boots the next device in
it's list.
This isnt a problem on most systems, but on some systems which have 3rd
party SCSI/SATA RAID Cards, the BIOS only shows the option for "1st Device"
to either, "boot network, boot scsi/raid"
So, when syslinux boot, it kicks in the 1st device (network) then when I
want to hdd boot (LOCA...

Snapshots - can't take a snapshot with running VM
Hi
I'm quite new to KVM/libvirt0 so hope you can help
I'm using Ubuntu Lucid 10.04 and libvirt0 0.8.1
When I try a :-
snapshot create vm_name
I get an error, ie 'error -5 while writing'
Googling doesnt bring anything up. Taking snapshots of a vm when it isnt
running works fine.
Can I really only create snapshots of a vm when it isnt running ?

spelling mistake in utils/net_groupmap.c but isnt really a bug
Hi developers
i have noticed a spelling mistake when you execute a net groupmap add
command.
For example
bash# net groupmap add unixgroup=uni-staff-planningfinance
ntgroup=uni-staff-planningfinance type=domain comment='All Planning and
Finance Staff'
No rid or sid specified, choosing algorithmic mapping
Successully added group uni-staff-planningfinance to the mapping db

why data frame's logical index isnt working
I don't get it, I thought the double index was to indicate and individual
element within a column(vector)?
I will stop using data.frame, thanks a lot!

Simple Example isnt working (ssh/bulk traffic)
Hi,
the script below should allow to get ssh connections running well while
downloading, but even the 100kbps (100kbyte/s?) doesnt work - can still
download with 500+kb/s. Whats wrong?
INTERFACE=eth0
#clear all on $INTERFACE
tc qdisc del dev $INTERFACE root
tc qdisc add dev $INTERFACE root handle 1:0 htb default 15
#root qdics, allows borrowing for its children

fine so far, but i can?t use the hint feature. Its possible to subscribe
to a given hint, but the status is allways unavailable and also i dont

Now there are 2 questions:
the image isnt uploaded, that is probably due to the fact that the
file_columnPlugin isnt available for the backgrounDRbserver..
My research turned out, that for the earlier version of the backgrounDRb
you had to insert

Mbuf Clusters on 4.8
...:
"Finally, the fact that FreeBSD 3.x panics when it runs
out of
mbuf clusters is a well-known problem. The solution is
to not
let it run out of mbuf clusters by configuring a
sufficient
number for them."
>From this it sounds as it is a problem that should be
fixed, but it
obviously isnt in 4.8. Is this behaviour now considered
acceptable? And if
so, doesnt this make FreeBSD extremely easy to kill
using a simple
DOS-attack? Is this "fixed" in any way on 5.1?

Cant find uid=0
Im having a problem adding machines to a domain. All has been fine until
today. This is the output when I try to add a machine (WinXP). It appears to
be looking for a root user in my LDAP directory but isnt finding it (because
there isnt a user 'root' there). User 'Administrator' exists.
Must there be an instance of 'root' in Samba LDAP backends? I've ploughed
through the idealx HOWTO for this, but Messrs Lemaire don't explicitly
create a root user. Can someone help?...
