Cleaning up R-2.0.0 installation on GNU/Linux ?
...o,
first, big thank you to the developers of R, the release of recent
version is very nice.!
Well, it seems that I've messed up my current installation by using two
update mechanism at the same time on my Debian Sid box.
That is :
1)Debian Way per apt-get freshing up my R installation
2) irregularily "update packages()" from within R.
I guess this obviousely resulted in messing up my installation looking
like this:

...out", but we still cannot
realistically get over the magical 16 clients limit.
Probably a big problem is the method of testing, in which all clients
request the configuration at the same point in time, which would not
happen in the real life, where config requests tend to happen
irregularily.
I will now try to use the testing script which luke wrote to create a
more realistic load pattern and see how the acceptable load rises with
the number of servers.
