I mentioned this 1 or 2 years back but it's still not fixed. I presume it's
a Icecast2 server problem. I'm using the latest Oddcast client, and
my server host Mediacast1 has just updated to the latest Icecast2.
I'm currently streaming a track in Vorbis format called:
M?ire Brennan - I L?thair D?
It shows this correctly in Winamp on the broadcast PC.
On the Icecast Status page,

well, if I manually update the metadata via oddcast and enter "M? ire
Brennan - I L??thair D??", then check the icecast2 status page, I see :
Current Song: M?ire Brennan - I L?thair D?
which I presume is correct. If I then open this stream with winamp, it
displays as : M - I L?thair D?. If I look at the file properties, the

rbind in a loop with " : " elements
Dear Ruser,
Below, the deal (you can copy paste):
r=3 ; set.seed(1)
v <- matrix(c(rnorm(40)),10,4)
for (j in 1:4){
for (i in 1:r){
x <- t(v[,j]^(i)*v[,1:4]^((r-(4-1)):r))
print(x)
}
}
How to reach to " x " " row bind " inside or outside (preferred) of the
loop.
To obtain at the end something like:

Speeding up a loop
General problem: I have 20 projects that can be invested in and I need to
decide which combinations meet a certain set of standards. The total
possible combinations comes out to 2^20. However I know for a fact that the
number of projects must be greater than 5 and less than 13. So far the the
code below is the best I can come up with for iteratively creating a set to
check against my set of

package for repeated measures ANOVA with various link functions
R 2.6.0
Windows XP
At the risk of raising the ire of the R gods . . .
I am looking for a package that will allow me to perform a poisson, quasipoisson, or negative binomial regression with adjustment for repeated measures. I have looked at glm, it does not appear to allow repeated measures. Although I can't get any help for lme or lme4 I remember that those packages perform repeated measures

RFC: Contributing Bazel BUILD files in the "peripheral" support tier
I previously <https://groups.google.com/g/llvm-dev/c/u07o3QREVUg/> proposed
contributing Bazel build files to the LLVM monorepo, supported *only* by
interested community members and not to interfere with or affect the
existing CMake configuration. As part of that conversation, it became clear
that the LLVM policies for more "peripheral" components were not clearly
documented. We

Marginal effects in negative binomial
Dear All,
I carry out negative binomial estimations using the glm.nb command from the MASS package.
Is there a command or a simple procedure for computing marginal effects from a glm.nb fitted object?
If these are the same as for a Poisson fitted object (glm), my question remains how to compute them.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Fitted values and residuals from glmmPQL (MASS package)
Dear All,
I would like to analyse the residuals from a generalized linear mixed model (GLMM) that I estimated, with random effects, by means of the command glmmPQL, from the MASS package.
It is not very clear to me what the actual residuals to analyse are (Y - Yhat): I obtain two columns of residuals, of which the first are population residuals, and the second refer to the grouping used in the

recommendation for post-hoc tests after anova
Greetings all,
I've done some ANOVAs and have found significant effects across my
groups, so now I have to do some post-hoc tests to ascertain which of
the groups is driving the significant effect. Usually one would do
something like a Newman-Keuls or Scheffe test to get at this but based
on googling and browsing through the r-help archives R doesn't support
these and they seem to be

Problem with glm.nb estimation
Dear All,
I've been using already for a year glm.nb() from the MASS package.
But today, R gave me an error message when estimating one of my usual
models:

Percentage effects in logistic regression
Dear ALL,
I'm trying to figure out what the percentage effects are in a logistic
regression. To be more clear, I'm not interested in the effect on y of a
1-unit increase in x, but on the percentage effect on y of a 1% increase in
x (in economics this is also often called an "elasticity").
For example, if my independent variables are in logs, the betas can be

Failed to join domain: failed to find DC for administrator@XYZ
Hello everyone
I had samba 4.1 working as a member server to a windows 2012 AD in a
test environment for a while now until I had to re-install the windows
server from scratch. I have the new AD setup with the same NETBIOS name
but now I have problems re-joining the samba box to the new AD. It looks
like a DNS issue but I am unable to understand why. After the
ire-install, I got a new Kerberos

I have two DSL modems witch are connected to my isp, in future my boss
want to buy another connection via DSL modem. Then i will have 3 DSL
modems. With every DSL modem i get 3x8 IP`s (netmask 248) from my ISP,
now i have question how to configure gateway wich tools should i use.
Because ip route and next hop via. wich i use now makes his work fine
but with new kernels there is an error

linear contrasts for trends in an anova
Hi everybody,
I'm trying to construct contrasts for an ANOVA to determine if there is a significant trend in the means of my groups.
In the following example, based on the type of 2x3 ANOVA I'm trying to perform, does the linear polynomial contrast generated by contr.poly allow me to test for a linear trend across groups?

waldtest and nested models - poolability (parameter stability)
Dear All,
I'm trying to use waldtest to test poolability (parameter stability) between
two logistic regressions. Because I need to use robust standard errors
(using sandwich), I cannot use anova. anova has no problems running the
test, but waldtest does, indipendently of specifying vcov or not. waldtest
does not appear to see that my models are nested. H0 in my case is the the

I want to start new server with Postfix (I still have qmail ) and I
